Win Ifor Lloyd's book!
In our latest competition, we gave you the chance to win a copy of the new book, "Winning Welsh Cobs", which has recently been published by Gomer press. The book is bilingual with wonderful photographs of the Welsh Cobs of Derwen Stud over the last century since the establishment of the main Welsh Cobs prize in our Royal Welsh Show.
The book's author is Ifor Lloyd, who was born to a family already committed to breeding Welsh cobs: his grandfather and great- uncle were among the founders of the Welsh Pony and Cob Society. In 1974 Ifor and his wife Myfanwy took to the reins, developing Derwen Stud bloodlines which proved to be popular all over the world.
