Wales Federation of Young Farmers' Clubs have organised four nights of excellent entertainment for the Young Peoples' Village during this year's Royal Welsh Show week.

The Young Peoples' Village is the place to be for all those that wish to let their hair down during the show week and this year a mixture of bands and DJs will be welcomed to the village to entertain the crowds.

On Sunday night two Welsh artists will be performing, Elin Fflur, who entertained the crowds in 2006, and Huw Chiswell, who will be performing at the Village for the first time. On Monday night 2 DJs will be welcomed to the village, Huw Stephens, Welsh DJ from Radio 1 and BBC Radio Cymru's C2, and Jenny Frost, member of the successful pop group Atomic Kitten.
A new club music night will be held on the Tuesday night where DJ Lisa Lashes will be DJ'ing. Lisa Lashes is well known in the club music scene and spends some of her time DJ'ing in Ibiza. The week will come to an end with the old favourites Crazy Ape and the Wurzels performing.

To try and improve on the provisions that are available at the Village, more facilities will be available this year. It is hoped that a bar will be available during the day along with a place to sit down and have food. A small shop will also be available as well as the usual facilities for those wishing to camp out in a caravan or a tent.

All the relevant forms to reserve a tent or caravan plot and an entertainment package are available on the Wales YFC website www.yfc-wales.org.uk.

Tickets will only be available to people aged 16 years and over, any one under 16 will not be admitted to the complex. Wales YFC will be asking for photographic identification from everyone 21 and under.
