On September the 11th-14th this year, a special event took place in Dinefwr Park near Llandeilo – the World Sheep Dog Trials. It attracted 240 sheep dogs and their owners from 22 countries across the World including Brazil, Australia, New Zealand, Austria, South Africa and Canada.
There had been months of preparation for the event and every competitor fought fiercely for the title of World Champion. Of course, the dogs who were competing are very experienced in fetching and penning the sheep every day on the farm. But, the pressure on the day of competing is a different matter! Which dog, which competitor and which country claimed the Championship title?
