Daloni Metcalfe

Daloni Metcalfe was brought up on a small holding in the parish of Llanrhychwyn in the Conwy Valley, where her family bred cattle and sheep, and on one occasion she even kept a section B cob at home. She also became a member of Llanrwst Young Farmers’ Club.

She graduated from the University of Wales Aberystwyth, and before joining the Ffermio crew, she had a vast television experience having been a presenter on the BBC Wales news for S4C, and as a presenter on daily magazine programmes, Heno and Wedi 7.

Today, Daloni farms with her husband Wil and their and four children Ifan, Lili, Robin and Nansi in Tudweiliog on the Lleyn Peninsula where they breed sheep and commercial cattle. Daloni herself has recently begun breeding Aberdeen Angus calves.
